Together For the Bees

Lincoln County Beekeepers Association

A Welcoming Community for Beekeepers & Bee Lovers Alike

This is the official website of the Lincoln County Beekeepers Association, a North Carolina nonprofit committed to protecting honey bee health and supporting the broader beekeeping community. The organization promotes responsible beekeeping practices, advances apiculture research, and provides education and outreach to help residents, hobbyists, and professionals better understand and care for these essential pollinators.

Bringing Together Beekeepers, Hobbyists, & Bee Enthusiasts

We are a diverse community of individuals brought together by a shared curiosity and respect for the honey bee and the remarkable world it inhabits. Our membership spans full‑time beekeepers, commercial pollinators, small‑scale hobbyists tending a few backyard hives, and even those who don’t keep bees at all but are captivated by the biology and behavior of Apis mellifera. Whether driven by scientific interest, environmental stewardship, or the simple joy of watching a hive at work, our members reflect the wide range of people who recognize the essential role honeybees play in our ecosystems and daily lives.

Joining the Lincoln County Beekeepers Association has been one of the best decisions I’ve made as a beekeeper. The support, shared knowledge, and genuine sense of community have helped me grow my skills and confidence in ways I never could have achieved on my own. Whether you’re managing dozens of hives or just starting with your first, being part of this group means you’re never alone—you have a network of people who truly care about bees, beekeeping, and each other.
